25 Years in Business

This summer, Motion City marks a major milestone: twenty five years in business. It was 1987 when we first filed the paperwork with Los Angeles county and Motion City Films was born.

That means the company has been around longer than Google, Twitter or Facbook (although admittedly not worth quite as much). We have outlasted multimedia software maker Macromedia, online retailer Etoys, and much larger effects companies like The Orphanage and Asylum Visual Effects. Heck we've even had a longer life than AOL.

What's the "secret sauce" that has kept Motion City around for a quarter of a century? I wish I knew. If you are a current or previous client, I welcome your comments on what we are doing right and, more importantly, where we can improve.
